Questions photographers ask

Is Camdeed Studio the same as Camdeed?
No. Camdeed is a photo collection app that gathers guest photos from weddings and events into one shared album. Camdeed Studio is a separate tool from the same team, built for photographers to animate their best shots into cinematic social reels. Studio is currently in an invite-only pilot, so a Camdeed account does not give you access to Studio.
How many photos should I upload?
Between 20 and 80 of your best shots from a single wedding. Studio is built around a pre-culled set, the kind you would already have after a Lightroom pass, not your full take.
What exactly does a credit buy?
One credit animates one clip. Uploading, AI analysis and watermarked previews are free, and the final clean render of your reel is included rather than charged separately. You pay only for the clips you choose to animate.
Do all photos animate well?
No, and Studio tells you which will not. AI analysis gives every photo an honest viability verdict before you spend a credit, so weak candidates never become weak clips. You also watch each real clip before it goes anywhere near your reel.
What happens if a clip does not look right?
Every clip includes one free regeneration if the result is not to your taste. If a clip fails technically, it is always regenerated free of charge.
Can I use the music on Instagram and other platforms?
Yes. The music library is royalty-free and cleared for social use.
Can I add my own branding to the reel?
Yes. You can close the reel with an end card that shows your own logo or handle, for example @somephotographer, so every share keeps pointing back at you. Paid exports carry no Camdeed branding at all. The only name on your reel is yours.
Does Studio work on mobile?
Yes. The full flow, from reviewing clips to arranging the reel, works on desktop and mobile, including touch.
Who is the pilot for?
The pilot is starting with a small group of professional wedding photographers. Studio is built to grow towards social creators and full timeline editing over time. Request early access on this page or message @camdeedapp on Instagram.
